The fire fighter looked a little closer and noticed the girl had tied the wagon to her dog’s collar and to the cat’s testicles. “Little partner,” the firefighter said, “I don’t want to tell you how to run your rig, but if you were to tie that rope around the cat’s collar, I think you could go faster.” The little girl replied thoughtfully, “You’re probably right, but then I wouldn’t have a siren.”

** For our 10 year anniversary I bought my wife a map of the world. I wrapped it up in a box and attached a card. On the card it said, “Throw this dart at this map, and wherever it lands is where I am taking you.” I’d been saving up money for close to 2 years now because we never had a honeymoon. I then put a dart in my wife’s hand. She was so excited and nervous. She said “I hope it lands on Ireland!” She finally threw the dart, and I’m happy to announce that this October my wife and I will be spending 2 wonderful weeks beside the baseboard in the kitchen.

**While walking along the sidewalk in front of his church, our minister heard the intoning of a prayer that nearly made his collar wilt. Apparently, his 5 year old son and his friends had found a dead robin. Feeling that proper burial should be performed, they had secured a small box and then dug a hole and made ready for the disposal of the deceased. The minister’s son was chosen to say the appropriate prayers and with sonorous dignity recited his version of what he thought his father always said: ‘Glory be unto the Faaather, and unto the Sonnn, ad into the hole he goooes.’
