We would like to thank you all for coming out to help us celebrate hay day! It was so great to see you all here! With a pretty heavy hay volume alfalfa and grass both sold lower. Buyer interest remained low. Quality varied tremendously and all classes sold lower. Bedding remained mostly steady though quality varied a lot.

** I was in a long line at 7:45 am today at the grocery store that opened at 8 for seniors only. A young man came from the parking lot and tried to cut in at the front of the line, but an old lady beat him back into the parking lot with her can. He returned and tried to cut in again, but an old man punched him in the gut, then kicked him to the ground and rolled him away. As he approached the line for the third time, he said, “If you don’t let me unlock the door, you’ll never get in there.”

** A cowboy rode into town and stopped at a saloon for a drink. Unfortunately, the locals always had a habit of picking on strangers, which he was. When he finished his drink, he found his horse had been stolen. He went back into the bar, handily flipped his gun into the air, caught it about his head without even looking and fired a shot into the ceiling. “Which one of you sidewinders stole my hourse?!” he yelled with surprising forcefulness. Noone answered. “Alright, I’m gonna have another beer, and if my horse ain’t back outside by the time I finish, I’m gonna do what I dun in Texas! And I don’t like to have to do what I dun in Texas!” Some of the locals shifted restlessly. The man, true to his word, had another beer, walked outside and his horse has been returned to the post. He saddled up and started to ride out of town. The bartender wandered out of the bar and asked, “Say partner, before you go… what happened in Texas?” The cowboy turned back and said, “I had to walk home.”
