Ashley was cruising east of Rock Valley at 60 mph when she spotted a police cruiser coming in the distance. She revved it up to 70. Looking back, she noted another police had joined the *chase*. So she pushed it up to 80. A 3^rd law enforcement vehicle joined. Seeing JJ’s ahead, she coasted into a parking spot, jumped out & headed into the restroom. When she emerged, the 3 officers were waiting outside of the door. She smiled and said, “I’m guessing you guys never thought I’d make it either, but I did!”

Heavy volume today as the market continues to weaken, especially on the better-quality alfalfa. We had a very good size buyer crowd in attendance despite the high temperatures. The grass consisted of a lot of mid quality and the alfalfa was mostly mid to poorer quality.  This was the first week with any new straw, obviously the four loads of wheat straw rounds were very nice looking.
