Market was called steady on a light run today. The rainy weather did not help our first Monday sale. We had no bedding today.

The chili cook-off was a success. Thank you to all who participated. Juanita took 1st place, and Frank took 2nd.

Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her 80s, and had never been married. She was always admired for her kindness and sweetness to all. *Oh yes,* she replied. *Isn*t it wonderful? I was walking through the park a few months ago and I found this little packet on the ground. The directions said to place it on the organ, keep it wetand that it would prevent the spread of disease. Do you know that I haven*t had the flu all winter!*
