Today the market averaged slightly lower. Quality was an issue today again. Some hay was carrying extra moisture or was not attractive to the buyers. Buyers appear to be waiting for better quality which hopefully will come. Given the weather, I’m not sure if they’ll get what they want.

I was standing at a bar in an international airport when this small Chinese guy comes in, stands next to me, and starts drinking a beer. I asked him, “Do you know any of those martial art things, like kung-fu, karate, or ju-jitsu?” He says “No, why the heck would you ask me that? Is it because I’m Chinese?” “No”, I said “It’s because you’re drinking my beer!”

A man had been in & out of a coma for months. Day after day his wife sat by his bedside, holding his hand, her love & hope unwavering. One Afternoon, his eyes fluttered open, slowly he looked around the room and then motioned for her to come closer. Her heart raced with relief and joy as she leaned in, tears welling up in her eyes... His frail voice managed to whisper, “You know something? You’ve been there for me through every tough moment in my life! When I lost my job, you were there to support me. When my business failed, you stayed by my side. When I got shot, you were there in the hospital, holding my hand. When we lost the house, you stuck with me. And now, with my health failing, you’re still here.” Her eyes brimmed with tears, and she whispered back, “Oh darling, that’s so sweet. What are you trying to say?” He took a deep breath, looked her straight in the eye, and said, “I think you’re bad luck.”
