Our teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said, *Fried Chicken.* She said I wasn*t funny, but she couldn*t have been right because everyone else laughed. My parents told me to always tell the truth, so I did. I told my dad what happened and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much. I do too. Especially chicken, pork, and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal*s office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too and told me not to do it again. The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite LIVE animal was. I told her it was chicken because you can make it into fried chicken. She sent me back to the principal*s office. He laughed and told me not to do it again. My parents told me to be honest, but my teacher doesn*t like it when I am. I don*t understand. Today my teacher told me to tell her what famous military person I admire most. I said, *Colonel Sanders.*
Guess where I am now...

The California D.O.T found over 200 dead crows on the highways recently, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu. A pathologist examined the birds, and to everyone*s relief, it was not bird flu. The cause of death seemed to be from vehicular impact. However, during analysis, it was noted that various colors of paint on the claws and beaks of the crows. Testing of these paints found that 98% of the birds were killed by impact with motorbikes, while the other 2% were impacted by cars. The agency then hired an
Ornithological Behaviourist to determine why the percentage difference between motorcycles vs. cars. The conclusion was that when crows eat road-kill, they always have a lookout bird to warn of incoming danger. They discovered that while all the lookout birds could shout *Cah!* but not a single one could shout *Bike!*

A DEA officer stopped at a ranch in Texas , and talked with an old rancher. He told the rancher, "I need to inspect your ranch for illegally  grown drugs." The rancher said, "Okay, but don't go in that field over there.",  as he pointed out the location. The DEA officer verbally exploded saying, " Mister, I have  the authority of the Federal Government with me !" Reaching into his rear pants pocket, he removed his badge and proudly displayed it to the rancher. "See this badge?! This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish... On any land!  No questions asked! Do you understand ?!!" The rancher nodded politely, apologized, and went about his chores. A short time later, the old rancher heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by the rancher's big Santa Gertrudis bull...... With every step, the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he'd, sure enough, get gored before he reached safety. The officer was clearly terrified. The rancher threw down his tools,  ran to the fence and yelled at the top of his lungs.....  "Your badge, show him your BADGE!!"

*Well,* the director said, *we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, or a bucket to the patient, and ask him or her to empty the bathtub.*
*Oh, I understand,* I said. * A normal person would pick the bucket because it*s bigger than the spoon or teacup.*
*No,* the director said. * A normal person would pull the plug. Would you like a bed near to the window?*

At a hotel restaurant, a man sees an attractive woman sitting alone at the next table. Suddenly, she sneezes, and her glass eye comes flying out. It hurls by the man, and he snatches out of the air and hands it back to her.
*This is so embarrassing,* she says as she pops her eye back into place.
*I*m sorry to have disturbed you. Let me buy you dinner to make it up to you. May I join you?* He nods. The woman is a stimulating conversationalist, stunningly pretty, and the man finds that they have a lot in common.

*No* she replied. *You just happened to catch my eye.*

At this point, the wife starts crying since she has no idea what to do. She gasps, *What is wrong with you? I know how to cook eggs.*
The husband simply smiles and says, *I just wanted to show you what it feels like driving with you in the car.* Then he leaves.

Two young boys walked into a pharmacy one day, picked out a box of tampons and proceeded to the checkout counter. The  man at the counter asked the older boy,
*Son, how old are you?*
*Eight* the boy replied.
The man continued, *do you know what these are used for?*
The boy replied, *Not exactly, but they aren*t for me. They*re for him. He*s my brother. He*sfour. We saw on TV that if you use these you would be able to swim and ride a bike. Right now, he can*t do either.*

During a visit to the mental asylum, I asked the director how he determined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

A man and a woman were married for many years. Whenever there was a confrontation, yelling could be heard deep into the night. The old man would shout, *When I die, I will dig my way up and out of the grave and come back and haunt you for the rest of your life!* The neighbors feared him, and the man took pride in this. One evening he died at the age of 98. After the funeral, her neighbors asked the widow, *Aren*t you afraid that he may indeed be able to dig his way out of the grave and haunt you for the rest of your life?* The widow said, *Let him dig! I had him buried upside down, and I know he won*t stop and ask for directions.*

A singles ad that appeared in the Atlanta Journal:
Single black female seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I am a very good looking girl that loves to play. I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping, fishing trips, and cozy winter nights by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I*ll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me.

Last Wednesday, a passenger was in a taxi heading to the airport. She leaned forward to ask the driver a question and tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. The driver screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up on the curb and stop just inches from hitting a storefront window. For a few minutes, everything was silent in the cab.
Then, the shaking driver said, *I am so sorry, are you ok? You scared the daylights out of me!* The badly shaken passenger  apologized to the driver and said, *I didn*t realize a mere tap on the shoulder would startle someone so badly.*
The driver replied, *No, no. I*m the one who is sorry. It*s entire my fault.  Today is my very first day driving a cab. I've been driving a hearse for 25 years.*
