Nice run of hay for today’s sale. Quality was a little better than before. Market for alfalfa of the same quality was off by about $10. Grass- the market was steady to weaker. Bedding was steady. Not a large buyer crowd as buyers are still busy in the fields silaging.

**During my physical examination, my doctor asked me about my physical activity level. I described a typical day. “Well, yesterday afternoon, I took a 5 hour walk about 7 miles through some pretty rough terrain. I waded along the edge of a lake. I pushed my way through brambles. I got sand in my shoes and my eyes. I avoided standing on a snake. I climbed several rocky hills. I took a few “leaks” behind some big trees. The mental stress of it all left me shattered. At the end of it all, I drank eight beers.” Inspired by the story, the doctor said, “Wow, you must be one heck of an outdoorsman!” “No,” I replied, “I’m just a really shitty golfer.”

She looked at it and said, “I don’t know how to use this.” She bowed her head and asked God to send her some help. 5 minutes later an old beat-up motorcycle pulled up driven by a bearded man who was wearing an old biker skull rag. He asked the lady if he could help, to which she responded, “Yes, my daughter is sick. I’ve locked my keys in my car and I must get home. Please can you help me unlock my car?” He said, “Sure.” In less than a minute the car was open! She hugged the man and through tears she said, “Thank you, God, for sending me such a nice man.” The man heard her and replied, “Ma’am, I am NOT a nice man. I just got out of prison yesterday. I was in prison for car theft.” The woman hugged the man again and sobbing said, “Oh, thank you God! You even sent me a professional!”
