It was a hot one today! Very strong demand for hay due to hot and dry conditions. There is a lot of fear in the air for future supply of hay. New Alfalfa quality was very good. Also the new grass and mixed hay was very nice. The old grass hay was grinding quality at best.

Bedding sold steady. Hay market started off weaker and ended fully steady. We had 2 loads of new alfalfa rounds today that appeared to be damp. All the rest was 2020 hay. We expect quite a few loads of new grass and alfalfa, rounds and squares to show up for our auction next week.
