Market was generally steady with weak undertones.

~ It’s pouring down rain outside O’Leary’s pub in Ireland, Outside is an old Irishman, soaking wet, sitting on the ground in front of a large puddle with an old stick and a piece of string hanging off the end into the puddle. The guy asks the old man sarcastically, “So, how many have you caught today?” The old Irishman sips his scotch, looks up and says, “Ye, it’s been a pretty good day. You’re the 8^th one I caught today.

Today’s alfalfa quality was much lower. Good alfalfa sold lower, and grinding alfalfa sold a little weaker. We did not have much good quality grass in today, and the market reflected such. Straw sold steady and cornstalks sold steady to weaker. It was a little on the chilly side today!
