Rock Valley Hay Report
Thursday July 27, 2023
145 Loads
___________________________________________________
Heavy volume today as the market continues to weaken, especially on the better-quality alfalfa. We had a very good size buyer crowd in attendance despite the high temperatures. The grass consisted of a lot of mid quality and the alfalfa was mostly mid to poorer quality. This was the first week with any new straw, obviously the four loads of wheat straw rounds were very nice looking.

Mrs. Jones was looking out of her front window one Sunday afternoon when she saw her neighbor coming up the drive dressed in his gardening clothes. 'He must be coming to borrow our lawnmower,' Mrs. Jones remarked to Mr. Jones indignantly, 'And on Sunday! How shameful. I won't let him have it.. I'll tell him we haven't got one.'
