We had a good run today with more than 50% new hay. Old alfalfa was steady to stronger, new alfalfa hay corrected itself. The quality of new alfalfa was good. New grass corrected somewhat and is starting out strong. Old grass hay was a little weaker. Straw sold strong and cornstalks were steady.

Two flies were buzzing around a messy kitchen and landed on a knife handle. They gorged themselves on leftover particles of bologna. Then they became airborne again, felt dizzy and dropped to the floor dead. The moral of the story? Don’t fly off the handle when you’re full of bologna!
